Handheld is a self-sustainable digital platform that bridges disconnected entities by creating numerous opportunities for one to be more involved in their community . It is designed for users to easily interact with Non-Government Organizations regarding a certain cause.
A user creates and customizes their own profiles and are later able to connect with NGOs which represent people who are in need. Based on your profile, Handheld will categorize volunteering opportunities and events that fit your interests and location, sending friendly notifications every now and then about opportunities such as “feeding programs”, “relief packing operations” or “special needs teaching” that are around your area.
